Christmas came and went so fast this year. I think all the "busy" ness before with the birth of Keegyn just made everything fly by! But we did end up having a nice quiet Christmas at our house despite the snow storm! We celebrated with Jason's parents the weekend prior, as they go to Chicago every year. Then, my parents made it down before the storm hit and we all hunkered down in the Thompson house for a few days---including Uncle D and Auntie A! Unfortunately for them, they were unable to make up north to Andrea's family--but lucky for us cuz we got to spend more time with them! I didn't include any pics from Christmas though--too many to even try to include. But here's a few of what we've been up to the past week or so....
Cale is such a great helper. This is the day for Christmas Eve--we're busy getting cookies ready for Santa! He was an excellent sugar dipping machine! Although, he was much better at actually eating the hershey kisses for the tops of the cookies. Which, to all who know my son well, this is no surprise at all!
Swiping yet another Hershey Kiss!!!!
Little Princess!!
Oh, poor, poor Keegyn. She does not know what's in store for her over the next 18 years of her life! This was just before Keegyn experienced her first face plant from her loving brother! You can see she's slowing tipping over and despite my saying "Cale, hold your sister's head," he lets her fly as soon as he finishes saying "CHEESE!" Then proceeded to laugh, cuz of course, it's so funny to see her face smashed into the carpet!
Cale would not even touch snow last year...now he wants to be out there doing "man's work." Jason bought him his own personal shovel (as I've said before, he's starting him early!"), but Cale actually thought it was fun....doesn't quite see it as "work" just yet...give it a few more years and then maybe it'll be a different story!
He's also discovered snowballs and realized it is actually fun to touch the snow...but even funner to throw it at Uncle D!

You have so many adorable outfits already! She is SOOO cute. and... I NEED to get Joel a shovel like that, he would love it! He is all about the snow this year too.
