Keegyn has been working real hard on some new milestones....sitting up on her own and rolling over. These have both proved no easy task for our little munchkin. Cale was already doing both by this time, which was really early, so we kinda forget that! And I'm sure poor little Keegyn is thinking "gimme a break, I'm doin the best I can!"
She still LOVES getting dressed up and posing for pictures though! That milestone was nuthin for her!Trying sooooooooooo hard to sit and play......veering a wee too much to the side Keeygn!!!
Trying once again...grabbing the foot for added support....but to no avail....a face plant was the only other option at this point!

(HOWEVER......our little munchkin did roll over today!!!! From her tummy to her back -- I guess she'll do anything to get off that tummy!)

Our little man has been such a great sport since Keegyn arrived. He's been so good, knowing that we need to give Keegyn a lot of attention. So we've been trying to do some extra things with him here and there too, to let him know we still think he's special! So this night, he got to stay up quite late. And he still has to prolong going to bed --by asking for milk!!! OK, yeah right! Do you think he really wanted milk???!!! NO!! He, of course, wanted juice but knew the answer would be "absolutely not" --yet he's still smart enough to know that I wouldn't tell him that he couldn't have milk! What a stink-pot!!!!

Thank you to Cale for finally giving up his old room so that Keegyn has a place to call her own!
(I think she's adjusted quite well, don't ya think?)
And our little munchkin has ALWAYS loved her bathtime! She would stay in there till she shriveled up to a prune if we let her! She's finally getting some hair back, so we had to play with it and make little curly-cues!

Relaxin' a bit too much....check out that foot action!

Snuggling in with the froggy towel--Cale was nice enough to let her "borrow" it.

Didn't want the bath tonight

Playing with her top...
Smiling!!!....

Yep....that about sums it up!

OUR LITTLE MAN TURNS 3 !!!!!
Cale was so excited for his big day, he could hardly stand it! He was up and ready to go hours before the party was to begin! Of course, I woke up extra early (thanks to our darling Keegyn!) and had the house decorated before the birthday boy rose so he could really enjoy his special day!He LOVED his Thomas balloon...had I known it was gonna be such a big hit, I wouldn't have stressed so much trying to decide what Jason and I were gonna get him for his present....I would have just bought him balloons!!!
His awesome cake! We brought it home the night before and we had to keep taking it out of the fridge for him to see it and then ask, repeatedly, "when are we gonna eat it though?"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN! WE LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Hangin' with his favorite Uncle D (and Kramer)--eating guacamole

Auntie Andrea spending time with Keegyn....getting some practice in before little Mikayla arrives!

Cale still enjoying his second favorite food (good ole' guacamole)...but pausing just long enough to take a picture with Jason and I

Our BEAUTIFUL baby girl....getting excited for the party to begin!

Thank you to Gretchen and Eric for coming to celebrate with us...it was especially fun seeing little Sydney and Eli!

Cale felt like such a BIG boy at his party...he loved all the babies! Sydney and Eli weren't too sure about Cale yet, and Keegyn was just praying that Cale would stay put so that she wouldn't end up in yet another face plant!

I just get a kick out of the next two pictures....compare Keegyn to Sydney.
Keegyn...4mo
Sydney...9mo
Keegyn...short/squat
Sydney...tall/lean
Just love it! Cracks me up!

RIPPING INTO THE PRESENTS....FINALLY!!!!
MASSIVE SQUIRT GUNS FROM AUNTIE A AND UNCLE D
THE OIL STOP...TO ADD TO HIS QUICKLY EXPANDING THOMAS COLLECTION
HIS VERY OWN PINT SIZED FISHING POLE!!! HE CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT OUT IN MICHIGAN THIS SUMMER. (casting that thing in the house is becoming a bit of a problem)
PLAY TABLE FOR HIS EVER EXPANDING THOMAS COLLECTION. (ALSO SO HE DOESN'T HAVE TO BEND OVER ON THE FLOOR ANYMORE BECUZ, AS HE TOLD GRANDMA B, "THAT HURT MY BACK TO DO THAT.") SERIOUSLY?????
Waiting patiently for Auntie Andrea to open up Colin the Crane
Trying out the squirt guns with Grandpa B

Sorry that I didn't get pictures of everyone!!! But many thanks and hugs and kisses to Grandma B and Grandma and Grandpa T who were also at Cale's big day! Cale is one lucky little boy to have so many people who love him sooooo much!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!
THE EASTER BUNNY WAS VERY GOOD TO CALE AND KEEGYN THIS YEAR. LOTS OF FUN SURPRISES!
Cale does have pants on....I swear!!! Decorating eggs was a lot of fun this year. Cale was so excited to color his eggs but the shirt only lasted about 5 minutes with this "dainty" guy!
...and this is why...
Cale did not believe in using any of the handy tools to dip his eggs...nope...only the hands would do.
You can tell by the annoyed look on Cale's face too that he was sick of Jason and myself telling him to be more careful!

Cale's first finished egg....with a firetruck sticker. Even at Easter we can't get away from trucks!
Cale's assortment of colored eggs...he was soooooooooo proud!

Birthday + Easter (meaning lots of candy and cool presents) = ONE HAPPY LITTY GUY!!!

Easter + Pretty Easter Dress = ONE HAPPY LITTLE SASSY PANTS!

One of Cale's favorites gifts from the Easter Bunny was his soccer ball. I couldn't get him to stop playing with it long enough to take a picture, until I said he could take it in the picture with him!
Here's Cale on his first of two egg hunts. Easter Bunny Jason was none too sly with the hiding spots, but for little Cale, it was quite the adventure!

"Hmmm. Now where do you think another egg is hiding?" If you could only see where that egg was, you'd be amazed that he didn't see the dang thing!!!
Way to go Cale! You found one ALL BY YOURSELF!!!

Basket full of goodies!

We spent the rest of the day at Grandma and Grandpa T's. We managed to get a family picture...finally....but there was a lot of bribing with candy to get this one accomplished!

Starting off his second egg hunt with Grandma T....in Cale's own words..."how did the Easter Bunny know we were coming to Grandma T's?"

Amazingly, Cale got better at the egg hunt his second time around

...and this time, the Easter Bunny hid lots of fun stuff in the eggs...like big plastic BUGS!!!
(THANK YOU EASTER BUNNY)
Cale and Grandp T trying out the new wagon...poor Grandpa T really got a work out wheeling Cale up and down all those hills!
To end our day of fun, we had to celebrate Cale's birthday with a small cake....He's been feeling pretty special all week. We sang "Happy Birthday" and had some cake on Easter, then he had a little party at daycare with his friends a few days later....and then we'll top off the week with his real birthday party this weekend....he can't wait...Thomas the Train!!

Cale's little friend, Chelsea. They had a blast running around outside with their bubble blowing guns!

What is this....a cake eating contest!!??!! Slow down, Chelsea, you haven't got a chance!!
