Happy Memorial Day weekend!! What a busy weekend we had! The weather was beautiful so we spent the majority of our weekend outside. So while I say it was a fun weekend, Jason says it was fun, yet productive, as he fertilized, watered, and cut the grass; washed and waxed both cars; and still had time to enjoy time with me and Cale! Way to go Dad!!! We spent our time at a couple parks throughout the weekend, no big surprise! Saturday night we spent the evening with our neighbors--ordered pizza and enjoyed the weather. They have a little guy the same age as Cale so they had a blast running around the backyard yelling and screaming and throwing things (as all little boys do!). Another little neighbor girl came over as well and Cale developed his second crush (that I know of) of his short little life so far! Both of his crushes have been quite a few years older than him as well--hmmm he's liking the older ladies!! Sunday we packed a picnic and headed to Minnehaha Falls for the day, which are all the pictures below. We had promised Cale that once we got down to the bottom of the waterfall he could throw rocks in the water, but when we got down there we noticed the real path was blocked off so there was just a makeshit one that wasn't too flat....remembering the weekend Cale was having (falling off his stepstool in the bathroom getting wedged between that and a drawer, tumbling head first over a riding toy truck at the neighbors, toppling down the stairs, and falling on the sidewalk and scraping his knee) we decided we better not risk it!!!! So after we smoothed that one over with him, we were able to enjoy the rest of the day and I think Cale even had a great time!

My sly guy!!!

Hey you!

We don't go anywhere without those fruit snacks!!! Cale can be bribed into almost anything if the fruit snacks are part of the plan!
He was fine with sitting for the picture, just not with looking at the camera!

Almost had him looking......

I just loved this picture!!!!!

The only thing missing from the water that Cale would have really enjoyed seeing was fish and duckies....
