AN ACTION PACKED DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Cale and I started off our day with a bang--bright and early we headed off to get my errands done, namely the bank and Target. Then it was a fun-filled day for my little guy! I asked him what he wanted to do and he told me "ride horses mommy." So, of course, I'm gonna deliver! We headed off to the Nickolodeon Park at good ole' MOA for none other than the infamous Merry-Go-Round! We got there bright and early...10am....no lines whatsoever, which Cale really appreciated! Although he didn't quite understand, or appreciate, why we had to exit the ride each and every time it was over just to walk around to the other side to ride it again....cuz we seriously were the only ones on the rides most of the time!!! Thankfully, for my sake, Cale did try a few other rides besides the Merry-Go-Round. He found a train of trucks that he really enjoyed--steering around corners and honking at the big fake moose hiding in the woods! Eventually, we ran out of tickets...and it was just in time....cuz then the lines started forming and we were ready for lunch!
Later that day, we got a surprise visit from Grandpa B! Cale was so excited to see Grandpa's motorcycle...he's been talking about it ever since we told him that Grandpa has one! So, Grandpa gave Cale the grand tour...and also got Cale to help him clean the bugs off of it...I guess Grandpa can make ANYTHING sound fun!
Last, but not least, we played in Daddy's rocks. Cale loves "sooping" (or as we call it...scooping) the rocks into his dump trucks and wheelbarrow....it's amazing that this little activity goes on for as long as it does!
