Cale playing peek-a-boo with Grandma Thompson

Here, Cale is getting a lesson from Great Grandpa Thompson on how the "fish TV" works. Cale was getting too confused when we kept saying "great grandpa"--- he's thinking "How come I have so many grandpas" So we officially decided to call great grandpa "Chief", which has been his nickname in the Thompson family forever ( I believe courtesy of Jason's dad!)

Cale and mommy shooting the breeze. The best I could do for a picture with Cale--he just didn't want to look at the camera.

Grandmp Thompson bought Cale his very own tom-tom on our trip to Eagle River, Wisconsin. It had feathers on when we bought it, and by the time we got back to the cabins (only about a 30 min drive) Cale had ripped off all the pretty feathers. As you can see, he doesn't quite understand the concept of it yet either...he would rather use it as a hammer and smash all the rocks instead of drum it. But hey, whatever works!
